Would you like to help build software that is used every day by 1,300 veterinary practices? At Sonetas, you’ll combine the modernisation of an existing SaaS platform with the development of a completely new product.

Fuga is evolving from a legacy Java application towards a Java, Spring Boot and React stack. At the same time, we are building a new greenfield application for hospitalisation from scratch, as well as a number of internal scalability tools. We are also developing myPets, our platform for pet owners.

AI-assisted development is part of our daily way of working. We use coding agents such as Codex and Claude to develop faster.

We are looking for engineers with an interest in both front-end and back-end development, who enjoy taking ownership. Both payroll and freelance arrangements are possible.

What will you do?

• Further modernise Fuga towards a Java / Spring Boot / React stack
• Help build our greenfield hospitalisation application
• Develop new services, APIs, modules and features
• Actively use AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude
• Contribute to discussions around architecture, quality, performance, security and usability
• We use a Kanban methodology, with plenty of room for initiative and ownership

You are a medior/senior software engineer who:
